Women’s History Month

Yesterday, April 3rd, Blessed Sacrament’s very own history teacher, Alma Rodriguez, made an appearance in the popular news channel , News 4 New York, to be honored as an ambassador for Women’s history. We couldn’t be more proud to say that the project discussed began in Blessed Sacrament’s own classrooms.

Great work, Mrs. Rodriguez!

Thankful

Blessed Sacrament Catholic Academy is grateful beyond measure for the generosity of the Barrett family. The Blessed Sacrament family also subscribes to their beliefs, as they align with our mission of teaching generosity and kindness. This donation will continue to make a difference in the lives of our students.
For those of you who have not had the pleasure of having been introduced to the story of the Barret family. The Barrett family were students in Blessed Sacrament School. Daniel and Patricia Barrett and later their children Carolyn and Maureen Barrett are alumni and the rest is history until 2013.
We have been honored with the task of completing the Barrett family wishes and are happy to link this gift to the original donation which allowed us to upgrade our technology lab in 2013.

Sudoku

Not only are the first graders having fun playing SUDOKU, they are also developing their decision-making skills, logical thinking, and spatial awareness. They are improving their concentration and attention to detail.
